A series of paintings that depict strong female characters that tell a story through the use of symbolism.
The style is inspired by Klimt with the use of 24k gold leaf used to highlight areas of the paintings. I wanted the feel of a miniature so they are all 8″ x 10″ oil on wood – the smoothness allowing minute details.
